Join the East Atlantic Flyway Youth Forum 2021!
“Taking off #ForNature from Africa to the Arctic”
 
Hosted by Youth Engaged in Wetlands, the Migratory Birds for People Programme, the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat, and the International Wadden Sea School, under the theme “Taking off #ForNature from Africa to the Arctic”, the objective of the first East Atlantic Flyway Youth Forum is to set the scene for coordinated youth engagement across the East Atlantic Flyway for increased intergenerational communication and cooperation for the conservation of wetlands and migratory waterbirds.
 
This online event is developed for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 years old to explore the challenges and opportunities for youth engagement in the conservation of wetlands and migratory waterbirds along the East Atlantic Flyway.

About the East Atlantic Flyway Youth Forum
 
●    Event Date: September 18-19, & 25-26, 2021 (half days)
●    Event location: Virtual sessions through Zoom
●    Language: English, French and Portuguese through translation and live interpretation
●    Qualifications:
○   18-30 years old at the time of application
○    Current involvement and/or interest in the conservation of wetlands and/or migratory waterfowl
○    Availability to participate in the full 4-day program*
○    Priority will be given to the youth living in the East Atlantic Flyway
●    Preliminary program, speakers & Advisors
