New Publication: Future of Sustainable Agriculture in Saline Environments

New book published with more than 30 articles written by speakers at the SalFar conference: Saline Futures in Leeuwarden in 2019. The book was presented to deputy Henk Staghouwer of the Province of Groningen, on August 24, 2021

The book Future of Sustainable Agriculture in Saline Environments consists of more than 30 articles written by speakers at the SalFar conference: Saline Futures: Saline Future in Leeuwarden in 2019, organised by the Wadden Academy together with the EU Intereg North Sea-partners in the SalFar-project.

The book has three sections. The first is about the international state of the art and strategies. The second is about saline agriculture in deltaic areas and the third section is about the physiological aspects of salt tolerance.

Editors are :  Katarzyna Negacz, Pier Vellinga, Edward Barrett-Lennard, Redouane Choukr-Allah and Theo Elzenga.

Future of Sustainable Agriculture in Saline Environments is now available both as an eBook and a printed version and available for free in Open Access at www.taylorfrancis.com added in the publication list of te Wadden Academy.
