EU project SalFar conludes with conference in Groningen
The multi-disciplinary approach has led to many results, which are shared during the mid-term conference “Saline Futures” in 2019 in Leeuwarden, organised together with the Waddenacademie. The book "Future of Sustainable Agriculture in Saline Environments" is one of the major outcomes of that conference.
The Province of Groningen is lead partner to host the final conference. In two days the SalFar results will be discussed showing innovative ways for future farming and food production saving freshwater resources and leading to high quality regional products.
The conference SalFar - Saline Farming: Climate adaptive Agriculture for Future Food Security will take place 5 and 6 April 2022 in the Grand Theatre in Groningen (NL).
