The International Small Islands Studies Association (ISISA) released a newsletter with a short report of the 16th Islands of the World ISISA conference "The Changing Futures of Islands" in Leeuwarden and on Terschelling.

Attention is also paid to the documentary "documentary an insight into the live of the islanders" that was shown to the participants of the conference on Terschelling. The film is available is with English subtitles here.
