Climate Change and World Heritage

The Unesco World Heritage Centre published the World Heritage Review special about Climate Change as a contribution to the Climate Conference COP26 in Glasgow.

The Waddenacademie wrote a contribution on climate change and the Wadden Sea entitled: 'Fastening our wadden seatbelts, protecting natural values in times of rapid climate change'. The contribution is based on an essay that Katja Philippart, Kees Bastmeijer and Piet Hoekstra wrote earlier for the annual report of the Trilateral Wadden Sea Cooperation.

The publication World Heritage Review-Climate Change can be viewed online. The contribution about the Wadden Sea can be found on page 43.

The complete essay can be found on the website of waddensea world heritage.
