Members of the Young Wadden Academy at the Frankfurter Book Fair

Mans gave four two hour workshops for different schools from all over Germany and even from Switzerland. The Classroom of the Future offered expeditions on the current topics such as Science, Robotics/Coding, Digital Arts, Next-generation storytelling (journalistic formats), World of Senses (e.g. Indonesian Cuisine). Because Flandern and the Netherlands were guests of honour, the Young Wadden Academy was asked to offer an expedition about the Wadden area. The idea behind our expedition was to focus on the question what we can learn from the past to the future. The pupils looked at old soil samples and recent samples through microscopes. They were very concentrated and interested.
