PECSLR 2014: call for abstracts for oral and poster presentations

The 26th session of the PECSRL biennial international conference - "Unraveling the Logics of Landscape" - will be held on 8-12 September 2014. The conference will take place at two locations: in the city of Gothenburg and the town of Mariestad in the west part of Sweden. The congress will be hosted by the University of Gothenburg.

The conference brings together geographers, landscape architects, historians, ethnographers, archaeologists, ecologists, rural planners, landscape managers and other scholars interested in European landscapes.

The main theme of the conference is "Unraveling the logics of landscape". The conference will elaborate on how the rural landscape is valued, monitored, changed, harbored, used and misused, be it through actions, representations or metaphors. There are a large number of organized sessions planned for PECSRL 2014, as well as sessions relating to the general themes of the conference.

The call for abstracts for oral and poster presentations is still open and closes on: 31 January 2014.
