Delta World Summit 2011 took place from 21 to 24 November 2011 in Jakarta and was organized by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) / Delta Alliance - Indonesia Wing.

Klaas Deen, Executive Secretary of the Wadden Academy was in Jakarta at the World Summit, on  Thursday, November 23 2011 he presented: "The Wadden Sea Region, a hotspot for the analysis of changing human-nature interactions ".
