On the 12th an 13th of April 2012 the meeting of the Board and the Advisory Committee of the Wadden Academy took place at a special location, IIASA in Laxenburg.

The chairman of the Wadden Academy, Prof. Pavel Kabat is Director of IIASA, since 1 Ferbruary 2012. The Board and Advisory Committee were briefed by Kabat on the developments within IIASA and the opportunities for future cooperation between IIASA and Waddenacademie were discussed.
