The Status of the Wadden Sea under European and International Law

In January 2024 the book 'The European and International Legal Status of the Wadden Sea' was published (in Dutch) under the editorship of the Waddenacademie (Kees Bastmeijer et al; Boom Juridische Uitgevers 2024).

The summary chapter of this book has now been translated into English to enter into discussions with the other two Wadden Sea countries about better implementation of the European directives and international treaties that aim to protect the Wadden Sea.
