From 7 to 9 September 2026, the WadNext Conference brings together regions, policymakers, destination organisations and researchers from across Europe in the UNESCO Wadden Sea Region. Not to discuss sustainability in theory, but to explore how choices are made and tested in practice.
WadNext is designed as a living lab. The Wadden Sea Region, a fragile landscape shaped by tourism, nature, climate and community interests, serves as a real-world case that resonates with coastal, island and rural regions across Europe.
